Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To avert the mending of size and shape and the formation of redundant parts by reinforcing the projecting part and sharp-angled end part of a precision cast molding for a machining electrode, a tool, etc. in the stage of forming said parts. CONSTITUTION:A mold 2 which templates the prototype of, for example, a tool having an extremely sharp-pointed part is made in the stage of manufacturing such product. The pointed end part of a molding 1 obtd. by actual electroforming or the like is inserted into said mold, and >=1 kinds among solder, a low m.p. alloy, and a mixture of said materials and an electroforming material such as copper or the like and other metals and non-metallic grains are packed 11 in the spacing between the same to reinforce the molding. Sticking clay for molding which is prepd. by adding a required amt. of water to bentonite and mixing a surfactant, hydrocarbon, etc. according to need is used to form the mold 2. Since the mold 2 has high heat retention and can control adequately the cooling rate of the packed material 11, the material 11 adheres to the molding 1 so as to reinforce the same, thus enabling the formation of a molding surface with high accuracy, more prticularly the forward end 11A precisely without any thermal strain.
