Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To accomplish most of tests electrically without requiring operation of the engine or the like by detecting the revolution ratio between the input and output sides of device to be tested such as the transmission of an automobile to determine the position of a shift lever. CONSTITUTION:While a certain mode is selected with a shift lever 7, this automobile tester checks the gear with a circuit 14 rotating an input side DC motor 4 or an output side DC motor 3 at a fixed revolutions whereby determination is made what speed the shift lever selects. This yield an effect of produce an apparatus with a greater reliability, a higher accuracy and ease of maintenance while accomplishing most of test electrically without requiring the operation of an engine or the like.
