Manufacture of ornamental candle
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To continuously ignite a large number of candles, by adhering a filament body serving as fuse to the point of a combustion wick by using a nitrocellulose solution. CONSTITUTION:A filament body 5 serving as fuse, which produces flame for ignition, is adhered to the point of a combustion wick 2 of each of a large number of candles by use of a nitrocellulose solution, and a large number of said candles are so aligned as to allow continuous ignition of the candles through the filament body. The filament body serving as fuse includes, for example, cellulosic natural fiber, such as cotton, linen, and cellulosic reproduction fiber such as rayon, and the filament body with size of 200 denier or less is preferably used. Nitrocellulose is prevented from fuming and production of offensive smell, and besides, ash is completely prevented from remaining after combustion, nitrocellulose for use in painting being especially preferable.
