Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To ensure a highly accurate control of revolution despite the spectrum variation of a reproduced signal, by controlling the revolution of a spindle motor with the output signal of an analog switch. CONSTITUTION:When a phase locking loop of a bit clock generating circuit 3 is unlocked by the disturbance of a reproduced signal A due to some factor, a lock detecting circuit 10 detects the unlocked loop and switches an analog switch 11 to the side of the 1st level control circuit 2 to obtain again the control of revolution which is secured by the spectrum of the signal A. Then the signal A is reset to a regular frequency, and the phase locking loop of the circuit 3 is locked. Then the switch 11 is switched by the output signal of the circuit 10 to obtain again the control of revolution secured by a bit clock signal C. Thus the revolution of a spindle motor is stabilized.
