Manufacture of composite solar battery element

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To manufacture elements at a low cost by a method wherein composite solar battery elements of small area connected in tile form are obtained by cutting and dividing the connected body of a plurality of solar battery elements in tile form. CONSTITUTION:The composite solar battery elements 5A-8A, 5B-8B and 5C- 8C of small area having the structure of connection in tile form are obtained by connecting the solar battery elements 5, 6, 7 and 8 in tile form and then dividing into necessary size by methods such as laser or dicing method. The workability is good, since solar battery elements of relatively large area are connected at first. By dividing according to necessity thereafter, the composite solar battery elements of small area having the structure of connection in tile form can be obtained easily at a low cost.
