Wet type magnetic separation apparatus

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To enable the continuous use of the titled apparatus, by arranging a magnetic particle collecting box 12 having a ferromagnetic matrix accommodated and fixed therein in a state reciprocally movable in a longitudinal direction to eliminate disassembling and washing during use. CONSTITUTION:When a raw liquid is supplied to a magnetic particle collecting box 12 from a liquid supply hopper 18, the iron component in the raw liquid is adhered to the reticulated ferromagnetic matrix 14 magnetized by the magnet 15 in the collecting box 12. In the next step, the collecting box 12 is moved to a place where gets away from the influence range of the magnetic field generated by the magnet 15 by driving a motor 241 and washing water is injected from a high pressure washing water injecting member 231 provided above the collecting box 12 to wash the matrix 14 while washing water containing the iron component is discharged from a trough 221 through a dust 211. Subsequently, the driving directions of the motors 242, 241 are changed over to move the collecting box 12 to the reverse direction and the iron component adhered to the matrix 14 is washed off by washing water from a washing water injecting member 232. As mentioned above, the continuous reciprocal movement of the collecting box 12 is repeated.
