Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To perform accurate tracking, by providing a cam driven by a pulse motor in contact with a roll fitted to a carriage pressed in a specific direction, and making its cam surface continuity of step difference as many as tracks. CONSTITUTION:The roll 15 is fitted to the carriage 11. The pulse motor 16 rotates a gear 39 and the cam 40 fitted rotatably on the shaft 8 of a motor 7 by a bearing 41 through gears 17 and 18 and a pinion 19. The cam 40 has the step parts which vary stepwise on the peripheral surface and the number of the steps is equalized to that of the tracks; and they abut said roll 15 to move the carriage 11, track by track, synchronously with the output of the pulse motor 16. Thus, the accurate tracking is performed.
