Feeding attachment and image forming apparatus equipped with the feeding attachment

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To save the space and reduce the weight of an image forming device by removably fitting a sheet feed attachment separate from a copying machine main body to the main body and precisely connecting the device main body to a coupling means coupling drive control signals. CONSTITUTION:When many sheets of decalcomania paper are to be copied continuously, a feed attachment 20 is connected to the lower section of a copying machine main body so as to allow the continuous feed by a cassette 21. A copy button 25, a sheet number and button 25 and a sheet number subtract button 27 are provided on the attachment 20 side and a clear stop button 28 is provided on a front control section 62, and respective signals are transferred between the copying machine main body 1 and attachment 20, when fitted. A connector 29 is provided on the attachment 20 side and a connector 30 is provided protrusively downward on the bottom box of the copying machine main body 1 side. Said connectors 29, 30 are precisely provided thereby can be reliably connected.
