Paper feeder device
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To improve reliability by reducing the number of necessary sensors used to discriminate paper sizes with multiple sizes and feeding them to a recording device or the like. CONSTITUTION:When sheets of paper with a required size are to be fed to a recording device or the like, a back plate 100 is moved in the direction of an arrow A between limitters 107, 108 by releasing a knob 104 in the paper feed direction to detect the paper size. In addition, a lug 102 for energizing a microswitch is attached to the lower section of the back plate 100, and individual microswitches MS9-MS15 are driven by drive metals driving individual microswitches, i.e., metals 103a-103g, as shown by the MS15 when the back plate 100 reaches a predetermined paper size position. Likewise, microswitches MS1- MS8 corresponding respectively can be also driven in the paper width direction.
