Heat exchanger made of aluminum alloy with superior corrosion resistance
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent effectively the corrosion of a tube material, by using an Al alloy contg. specified amounts of Si and Fe as the tube material to which a fin material made of a brazing sheet is brazed. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchanger made of Al is manufactured by brazing a fin material made of a brazing sheet to a tube material. The tube material is made of an Al alloy contg. 0.5-3%, preferably 2.0% Si and/or 0.5-2%, preferably 1.0% Fe. The natural electrode potential of the tube material is made nobler to reduce the difference in natural electrode potential between the tube and fin materials, so the corrosion of the tube material is effectively prevented.
