High speed stirring granulation tank
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To provide the titled granulation tank enabled in good continuous operation, constituted so as to suppress the growth of scale and to prevent the short path of a slurry by providing at least one stage of a stirring blade at a position corresponding to the scale growing zone in a granulation tank. CONSTITUTION:In a high speed stirring granulation tank 10' constituting an underwater granulation apparatus of coal having a buffle 15 provided in the container 11 thereof, at least one stage of a pawl provided scrape-off type stirring blade 14b is provided to the rotary shaft of a high speed rotary apparatus 12 in corresponding relation to a scale growing zone other than one stage of the stirring blade 14a provided to the lower end of said rotary shaft. To this container 11, an aqueous coal slurry of which the concn. is adjusted and a binder such as heavy oil are respectively supplied from conduits 20, 21 to rotate the rotary apparatus. The above mentioned slurry is scraped off downwardly by the stirring blade 14b as well as mixed well under stirring over the total region by the stirring blades 14a, 14b and the buffle 15 and the coal component is coagulated and granulated to be overflowed from a conduit 22 to be transferred to the next process.
