Horizontal holding, rolling and transfer device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To transport an accommodation part, while it is held approximately level, together with an outer ring by furnishing an other ring and an inner ring, which can make relative rotation, and by installing the accomodation part for objects to be held level inside the inner ring. CONSTITUTION:Outer ring members 2a, 2b and inner ring members 3a, 3b are arranged concentrically with possiblity of making relative rotation, and are consolidated fast by a coupling frame 4 and connecting plates 5a, 5b. The space formed in the inner ring by the surrounding connecting plates 5a, 5b shall serve for accommodation of the objects. A rotary member 7 such as a roller is interposed between the outer ring and inner ring and supported by a shaft 8 arranged extending between the peripheral walls of the inner ring members 3a, 3b. A handle 10 is mounted at the side wall of the inner ring mbmers 3a, 3b rotatably. The transport device 1 can be stopped by turning this handle 10 to the vertical position shown by the dot and dash line.
