Apparatus for loosening noodles

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To carry out the automatic filling of a retainer with completely loosened noodles cut to an amount of one meal, by placing a retainer conveyor belt below a noodle cutter interposing a chute furnished with a nozzle, and synchronously driving the devices. CONSTITUTION:The noodle web A transported by the belt conveyor 46 is fed through the guide plate 48 to the chute 4, loosened by the air stream introduced through the opening 7 (and 8), and cut with the noodle cutter 1. The limit switch is operated by the rotation of the shaft of the cutter 1 to blast compressed air through the nozzle 9, and the noodles A cut to a portion of one meal are dropped in the retainer 13 in uniformly dispersed state. The limit switch is operated again by the rotation of the shaft of the cutter 1, and the retainer conveyor belt 12 is started to set the empty retainer 13 just below the discharge port of the chute 4.
