Brushless motor
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To make the titled motor self-start constant in the specified direction regardless of the stop positions of a rotor by a method wherein a coil wound by a main magnetic pole and at least one auxiliary magnetic pole adjoining the main magnetic pole is simultaneously excited corresponding to a position detecting signal to magnetize the auxiliary magnetic pole. CONSTITUTION:In case of the stop positions of (A) and (B), the coils 4, 5 are excited so that both a main magnetic pole 2a and an auxiliary magnetic pole 3a may be charged with N polarity making a rotor R self-start clockwise while in case of the stop position of (C), the rotor R is self-started clockwise by the difference in the flux between the main magnetic pole 2a and the auxiliary magnetic pole 3a. Further in case of the stop position of (D), the excitation will be transferred to the coils 7, 8 wound around another main magnetic pole 2b and another auxiliary magnetic pole 3b making the relative positions of these magnetic poles and the magnetic pole 1a of the rotor R similar to those of the stop position (A) to make the rotor R self start clockwise. Besides, the diodes 6, 9 are respectively connected to the coils 5, 8 in parallel so as to cancell the braking force by the repulsive force against the magnetic pole 1c of the rotor R of the auxiliary magnetic pole 3a in the stop position (C) and the electromotive voltage with negative polarity as compared with that of the coil 4 to be induced into the coils 5, 8.
