Manufacture of decorative sheet
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To facilitate the manufacture of an embossed decorative sheet by a method wherein printed pattern is provided with ink having high solids content onto heat-shrinkable resin sheet and then the printed pattern part is made relieved by heat-treating the heat-shrinkable resin sheet. CONSTITUTION:A printed pattern is provided with ink having solids content of as high as 30-50wt% onto the heat-shrinkable resin, which is composed of polyethylene, polyester, and the like and has heat shrinkage factor of 10-50%. Gravure printing is preferable as for the method to provide printed pattern, because its selective range of vehicle of ink adaptive to the matter to be printed is wide and its amount of ink to be transferred is great. The part of the heat- shrinkable sheet fallen under the printed pattern is made protruded to the printed pattern side by heat-treating the heat-shrinkable sheet, onto which the printed pattern is provided, at a temperature above its heat shrinkage temperature in a heating oven or a hot air oven in order to obtain the decorative sheet.
