Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain an audio signal having good quality, by forming a compensating signal so as to interpolate a missing part of a signal during the period of impulsive noise, in audio equipment by an analog circuit with a simple circuit constitution. CONSTITUTION:An input audio signal outputted from a delay circuit 2 is applied to an input terminal 5a of a signal correcting circuit 5. An output signal S3 from the signal compensating circuit 5 is differentiated and a differentiated output signal S4 is applied to a sample-and-hold circuit 7. A control signal S2 generated at a control signal generating circuit CSG is used as a sampling pulse to the circuit 7. An output signal S5 from the circuit 7 is applied to a gate circuit 8. A signal S6 outputted from the gate circuit 8, i.e., the pulse S6 having ramp information of the desired signal during the period where impulsive noise in the input audio signal is produced is applied to a terminal 5d of the signal compensating circuit 5, then the circuit 5 forms a compensating signal so that the missing part of the signal produced during the period of mixing of impulsive noise in the input audio signal based on the signal S6 is interpolated linearly for performing linear interpolation of the signal with the compensating signal and transmits the signal S3 to an output terminal 9.
