Ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer type resin composition for casting film and preparation thereof
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:A composition, prepared by incorporating two specific ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymers having different molecular weights, and capable of giving films having improved transparency, impact strength, tear strength, heat-sealing properties and hot tack even by the ultrahigh-speed molding. CONSTITUTION:A resin composition obtained by incorporating (A) 10wt% or more and less than 60wt% ethylene-3-18C alpha-olefin copolymer having 0.895- 0.935g/cm<3> density, 1.5-2.0dl/g intrinsic viscosity and 7-40 short side chains based on 1,000 carbon atoms with (B) 90wt% or less and more than 40wt% ethylene-3-18C alpha-olefin copolymer having 0.910-0.955g/cm<3> density, 0.7-1.5dl/g intrinsic viscosity and 5-25 short side chains based on 1,000 carbon atoms at 0.6-1.7, preferably 0.8-1.3, ratio (A/B) between the numbers of the short side chains in both copolymers (A) and (B). The resultant resin composition has 0.910-0.929g/cm<3> density, 0.2-5g/10min melt index (MI) and 35-50 melt flow rate (MFR). Preferably, the ratio between the intrinsic viscosities of the copolymers (A) and (B) is 1.3 or above and below 1.5.
