Zero crossing controlling circuit
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To realize an operation having high accuracy, by generating an output signal which rises from the start end of a pulse output corresponding to on-and off-states of a control signal, driving a switching element, and applying the voltage to a load from a zero crossing point of AC voltage. CONSTITUTION:A switching element S is connected between an AC power source AC and a load L, and a square wave pulse (b) which turns on and off from a zero crossing point of the power source AC is generated from a comparator C connected to the power source AC. This pulse (b) and a control signal (c) are inputted to an FF circuit F, and an output signal (d) which rises from the start point of the pulse (b) corresponding to on-and off-states of the signal (c) is outputted. By this output signal (d), the element S is subjected to zero crossing control, and voltage supplied to the load L is made to voltage (e). In this state, the voltage (e) is applied to the load L from the zero crossing point of the power source AC, by which the operation becomes exact and the operation having high accuracy and can be realized.
