Storing and reproducing device for image data
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To improve the quality of data storage by comparing the amounts of errors counted by two counter means with each other, and selecting a data block whose error amount is less on the basis of the comparison result. CONSTITUTION:Two successive blocks which are written double on an optical disk 5 are stored in buffers A8 and B9 by selector pulses, and their numbers of error records are recorded in counters A11 and A12. A comparing circuit 13 compares the number of error records counted by the counters with each other. The output signal of the circuit 13 is signified to an FF15, which is preset when the block in the buffer A has less errors than the block in the buffer B. Then, the FF15 outputs 1 as its Q output and an AND gate 22 is signified to allow data to be read out of the buffer A8.
