Method of controlling fuel injection in internal- combustion engine
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To expand the effect of an intake control valve independent of a throttle valve, by supplying a quantity of fuel different at the opening of the intake control valve from that at its closing. CONSTITUTION:An intake control valve 24 independent of a throttle valve is provided in an auxiliary intake passage 20B which connects a surge tank 16 to one intake valve 10B of an engine 10. When the intake control valve 24 is opened, the pressure to be applied to a fuel injection valve 22 is regulated to decrease the supplied quantity of fuel to set an air-to-fuel ratio smaller than that demanded by the engine 10. The effect of the intake control valve 24 is thus expanded.
