Preparation of nutrient food
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To prepare a nutrient food free from the characteristic smell of vital blood, by adding the body component of a snapping turtle to a sugar solution of a specific state to effect the autodigestion of the component, adding a solution of malic acid mixed with the vital blood of snapping turtle to the sugar solution, and ripening the mixture. CONSTITUTION:Vital blood collected from the living body of a snapping turtle is mixed with a solution containing malic acid, e.g. apple extract, etc. The remaining body component is cut to fine pieces, added to a concentrated sugar solution having a concentration of >=55%, e.g. honey, etc. at 50-70 deg.C, and mixed to effect the autodigestion. Both products are mixed together, ripened to make the body component of turtle soluble in water, and optionally added with nutrient components extracted from animal or vegetable, e.g. royal jelly, blueberry, plum, etc. to obtain the objective nutrient food.
