Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To vary color density without grade, by using a liquid-crystal or electrochromic color filter as a color compensating filter in an optical path during printing of a photograph. CONSTITUTION:Light 13a from an original 11a passes through a reflecting mirror 13 and a light guide cylinder 14a, and reaches a photosensitive material 21 through the polarizing filter 16 and liquid-crystal or electrochromic filter 17 of a filter part 15a. The filter 17 consists of a color filter A, transparent electrode B, liquid-crystal layer or electrochromic thin-film layer C, and base D and is controlled by a trigger circuit 18 synchronizing with a shutter 14, and a voltage applied through a voltage circuit 19 to vary in color density without grade.
