Color photosensitive silver halide material
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a color photosensitive material giving a stabilized color image free from fog and the deterioration of the hue by incorporating a compound synthesized by reacting a hydroquinone compound with a specified alkylating agent in the presence of an acid catalyst. CONSTITUTION:This color photosensitive silver halide material contains at least one kind of component selected among compounds represented by formula I and precursors thereof. In the formula, R is a group represented by formula II, R' is 1-20C optionally substituted alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, aralkyl or R, each of R1 and R2 is H or alkyl, both of them are not H, R3 is halogen, optionally substituted alkylthio, arylthio, sulfoxide, sulfonyl, acyl, ureido, urethane, sulfamoyl, nitro or the like, n is 1-10, and m is 1 or 2. The compounds represented by the general formula I are especially effective in preventing the fading of a magenta color image and the yellowing of the white ground.
