Oil pan of reduction gear reverser machine

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent stirring of oil without causing the necessity for providing a baffle plate, by dividing the inside of an oil pan into a gear chamber and an oil chamber through a partition and both intrusively providing a gear to the gear chamber and connecting an oil suction port to the oil chamber. CONSTITUTION:A partition A3 is parallelly extended together with a rear wall A1 and a front wall A4 while successively provided to both side walls A5, in this way, an oil pan is divided into two front and rear chambers, forming a relatively narrow gear chamber 80 housing the bottom part of a gear and relatively wide oil chamber 81 for accumulating oil. Further the both chambers 80, 81 are communicated through one hole of small diameter provided to a bottom end part of the partition A3. A suction port of oil sucked to an oil pump is provided in the oil chamber 81, here oil in the oil chamber 81 is not stirred because the partition A3 is provided, accordingly high temperature oil and/or oil mixed with air are never sucked to the oil suction port.
