Ignition system for internal-combustion engine
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To connect both terminals in a solid manner, by constituting an ignition coil part and an ignition plug part as one body upon direct connection, while connecting a high tension terminal at the secondary coil side of the ignition coil part to an input terminal of the ignition plug part with a spring. CONSTITUTION:A housing 116 and a holder 117 of an ignition plug part 11 are locked thereat in a way of a driving fit, and part of the plug part is faced to a water passage 25 of a cylinder head 2. And, a spring 129 is used for electrical joining between an intermediate shaft 114 and a high tension terminal 128 of an ignition coil part 12. With this constitution, an electrode part is quickly cooled, and heat-removal is made far better, while there is no air gap between both, so that a loss of energy comes to nothing.
