Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:The titled composition that is obtained by adding a phenoxy resin, thus showing largely improved water-absorbing properties and good moldability. CONSTITUTION:A phenoxy resin is added to a modified alkylene terephthalate which has been prepared by copolymerizing and/or mixing polyoxyalkylene with a polyalkylene terephthalate, preferably polyethylene terephthalate or polybutylene terephthalate. The phenoxy resin is a linear thermoplastic poly(hydroxy ether) from bisphenol-A and epichlorohydrin and added by 0.5-50pts.wt., preferably 1-20pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of the modified polyester.
