Polyolefin resin sheet

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:The titled sheet having high strength and rigidity and appearance like paper, especially improved heat molding properties, and low drawdown, obtained by blending a specific polypropylene resin with a spcified polyethylene resin and talc in a molten state. CONSTITUTION:(A) A polypropylene resin having 0.1-5.0g/10min melt index is blended with (B) a polyethylene resin (e.g., high-density polyethylene having 0.940-0.970g/cm<3> specific gravity) having 0.02-10.0g/10min melt index and (C) talc (preferably 10-20mu particle diameter) in a molten state, to give the desired sheet (preferably for heat molding). A total amount of the component A and B is 40-80wt% based on total amount of blend, and an amount of the component A is preferably 10-90wt% based on total amount of the components A and B. USE:Synthetic thick paper, containers for foods and drinks, etc.
