Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To clean up the tip surface of an inkjet head nozzle with relatively simple mechanism by arranging a nozzle cleaner so as to slide over the nozzle tip surface of the inkjet head when ink is injected at the standby position. CONSTITUTION:While a high voltage is applied to inject ink from a nozzle 3a with the rotation of a nozzle cap 21, a wiper 24a cleans up the end face of a nozzle 3a of an inkjet head. This enables the cleaning of dust, dirt and discharged ink on the nozzle tip surface while allowing possible air bubbles in the nozzle to be evacuated. Thus, a pump or the like to extrude or suck ink is not required.
