Composition for microwave dielectric porcelain
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain lower loss and higher stability by adding Ba(Ni1/3Nb2/3)O3 to a BaO.nTiO2 group dielectric material at a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:0.1-5.0wt% Ba(Ni1/3Nb2/3)O3 is added to a dielectric of a composition of 15-25mol% BaO and 75-85mol% TiO2, thus obtaining a microwave dielectric porcelain composition. In the dielectric material, a temperature coefficient increase and the material is not fitted to practical use when BaO is less than 15mol%, and Q drops when the quantity of BaO exceeds 25mol%. When not less than 0.1wt% Ba(Ni1/3Nb2/3)O3 is added, Q is elevated, and the effect of addition is displayed. When it exceeds 5.0wt%, on the other hand, Q reduces largely, and the temperature coefficient also increases. Accordingly, Q can be increased by acquiring said composition, and the linearity of resonance frequency temperature characteristics can be improved.
