Printing plate for electrophotographic mechanical process

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a printing plate high in stability in printing operation and superior in printing resistance by using a specified org. compd. as an org. photoconductor. CONSTITUTION:A printing plate for electrophotographic mechanical process obtained by forming on a conductive substrate a layer contg. an alkali-soluble resin, such as styrene-maleic anhydride, and an org. photoconductor represented by formula I in which R1 is methyl, ethyl, or 2-chloroethyl; R2 is methyl, ethyl, benzyl, or phenyl; and R3 is H, Cl, Br, 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy, dialkylamino, or nitro; such as formula II or III. As a result, the obtained printing plate is effectively functions for various kinds of electrophotographic mechanical processes and has extremely high printing resistance.
