Control valve for automatic brake
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To simplify structure and a control system, by a method wherein two valve plugs are arranged in a valve hole of a common valve housing in series and one of the valve plugs is controlled by driving by an actuator such as a solenoid linear motor. CONSTITUTION:A control valve 20 is provided with a valve housing 24 having respective negative pressure ports 21, 22 connected with a first and second chambers 16, 17 of an actuator 10 driving a master cylinder 14, and the inside of a valve hole 23 of the control valve 20 is provided with a first and second valve plugs 25, 26. The first valve plug 25 is provided with an annular unit made of a flexible material, pressed against a valve seat 28 and energized by a spring 33. The second valve plug 26 is moved in a reciprocating state by a linear motor 27 and is provided with a valve seat 35 opening and closing a through hole 40 of the first valve plug 25. The foregoing control valve 20 is applied to control of an automatic brake at the time of running on a slope, and, in this instance, as the second valve plug 26 is descended by operating the solenoid linear motor 27, the atmosphere is introduced into the second chamber 17 through a line 52.
