Recording system for pcm signal
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To improve the capability of error correction by arranging even-numbered samples and odd-numbered samples as far away as possible and increasing the probability that either of even-numbered and odd-numbered samples is present as much as possible. CONSTITUTION:The part A of one track consists of C11-C24 in a figure. All the odd-numbered samples are recorded on a track preceding all the even-numbered samples in the figure. Therefore, even if corrections can not be made by the C11-C14 erroneously owing to the longest burst of the C11-C28 at a maximum, the error is checked by the C22 and C24. The part where the C11-C25 are recorded in the beginning of the track corresponds to the scanning start point of a head and even errors due to the defective contact with the head occur in quantities, the probability that music information is left as it is is increased.
