Commander for remote control

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a commander which is safe against malfunction, by providing switches classified by categories, and then controlling the output of switches of operating a VTR and a receiver. CONSTITUTION:Switches for VTR operation and receiver operation are connected to a scanning output port 14, input port 15, and key input detecting input port 16 in a key encoder 10. A CPU11 which operates by a program 12 and a work RAM13 read operation information of the switches SV and ST to supply the information to a light emitting diode 23 through an output port 17, modulating circuit 21, and output amplifier 22, thereby controlling a VTR and a receiver which are not shown in Fig. Between said input port 16 and switches SV and ST, categorical switches CV and CT are provided and when those switches are turned off, the CPU11 makes the operations of the corresponding switches SV and ST invalid to make these switches not controllable for the equipment.
