Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution and to attain small size, by providing a power selectively so that a cassette is carried through the driving of a motor toward one direction and the driving of a tape running system toward the opposite direction. CONSTITUTION:A motor pulley 6 and a pulley 212 switchingly driven via a unidirectional rotating clutch 210 are provided for a shaft of a motor 4 fitted to a base plate 2, a driving torque is given to the motor 4 when the motor 4 is driven unidirectionally and not given to the pulley 212 when driven toward the opposite direction. The tape is driven via a belt 208 belted on the motor pulley 6 and the driving of the pulley 212 is used for loading/unloading of a cassette via a belt 8. Thus, through the changeover of the rotating direction of a motor, the loading/unloading of the cassette and the tape drive can be done, allowing to realize the device with a simple constitution.
