Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a good transferred picture stably, by providing a guiding member of a transferring member which is displaced in accordance with the displacement of a roll holding a beltlike recording material. CONSTITUTION:A recording device is provided with a mechanism correcting that a belt of a photoreceptor 1 goes to one side. For instance, when the belt goes to one side above a fixed range, this is detected optically and the belt is controlled so as to return the central part by displacing one end of a roll 2a upward or downward. A gap is generated between the belt 1 and a recording paper 8 by displacement of the roll 2a. A guiding member of the recording paper 8 displacing in accordance with the displacement of the roll 2 is disposed between the roll 2a and a transfer charger 6 in order to prevent this gap to be generated. By this way, as the recording material is stuck to the transferring member, a good transferred picture is obtained stably.
