Water-based lubricating oil composition

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prepare a water-based lubricating oil composition having excellent stability to mechanical shear stress and high thickening effect, by using a mixture of specific polyether compounds as a component. CONSTITUTION:The objective water-based lubricating oil composition contains (A) a polyether compound of formulaI(R<1> is 2-26C 2-8-hydric alcohol, polyhydric phenol, etc.; X is O or N; p is 3 or 4; a+b is 10-3,000, a/b is 9/1-3/7) obtained by block polymerization and (B) a polyether compound of formula II or formula III (R2, R3 and R4 are 5-26C hydrocarbon group; Y is O or N; c+d is 10-200, c/d is >=3/7, etc.) obtained by block polymerization or random polymerization.
