Laser light emitting device
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To suppress the reduction in the light emitting time of the laser, by forming a converted signal whose time length is expanded from that of an applied input signal, and driving the laser by said converted signal. CONSTITUTION:As a signal for driving a semiconductor laser 6, a video signal S1 is inputted to one input terminal of a 2 input NAND gate 1. A video allowing signal S2, which allows the input of the video signal S1, is inputted to the other input terminal. A signal 3, which is outputted from the NAND gate 1 is inverted by an inverter 23, and a signal S4 is inputted to a 2 input NOR gate and a delay line 5. The signal S4 which is inputted into the delay line 5 is delayed by a rising time td1 and a trailing time td2, and a signal S5 is inputted to the 2 input NOR gate 4. Therefore an output signal S6 of the NOR gate 4 is inputted to an electrode switching circuit at a timing at which a LOW level is delayed by the td2. That is, the light emitting time of the semiconductor laser 6 is elongated by the td2 with respect to the video signal S1.
