Reagent dispensing device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To dispense exactly a reagent, by forming an optical path crossing opening parts at the plural opening parts in a reagent program board provided in an aotomatic analyzing device and detecting by an optical path interrupting signal whether a nozzle holder is set at a right position or not. CONSTITUTION:A titled device is arranged in such a way that plural reacting tubes are arranged in row and column in a reacting line of an automatic analyzing device which is capable to measuring many items and are moved intermittently to the fixed direction, and a prescribe quantity of reagent is put into the reacting tubes from a nozzle 33 fitted to an opening part 10A of a reagnet program board 10. Said device is arranged in such a way that light from a light emitting element 12 is sent through an optical fiber 13 from an optical fiber 11 to the opening part 10A and is received by a photodetector 15. A holder 30 of the nozzle 33 is inserted into the part 10A, the light to the photodetector 15 is cut off and an element of light emitting surface on the holder 30 emits light. A normal program for dispensing the reagent is stored in a CPU 19 and a circuit 18 by which an erroneous signal is gnereated when the holder 30 is put in the incorrect opening part 10A, is provided so as to display on a display 20, and as this display is recognized immediately by light emission of the element 32 of light emitting surface, an operator can correct a mistake of setting.
