Registration control circuit of multitube color camera
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To ensure the uniform registration over the entire screen, by applying a compensating signal to an auxiliary light polarizing coil which is provided independently of a main light polarizing coil and controlling the registration of another image pickup tube against the output image of the reference image pickup tube. CONSTITUTION:A screen picked up by a color TV camera of 3-tube (R, G and B) type is divided horizontally and vertically into 7 parts for example, and a reticle is picked up at the center of each divided region. In each divided region, the information is detected to compensate the horizontal and vertical shifts of the R and B tubes on the basis of the G tube. This information is digitized and stored temporarily in a memory region. Then the compensating signal which is produced based on the data stored in the memory is applied to the auxiliary light polarizing coils 98R and 98B which are provided independently of the main light polarizing coils 89G, 89R and 89B. As a result, the registration is controlled for the R and B tubes to the output image of the reference G tube.
