Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To facilitate an easy use of a large-size facsimile device, by separating a basement part and a comparatively light-weight operating part. CONSTITUTION:A facsimile device is separated into an operating part 1 and a basement part 2, and these two separated parts are connected together with a cable 3. The part 1 includes a recording mechanism and a reading mechanism; while the part 2 contains a power supply circuit, a control circuit and a modulating/demodulating circuit. A turntable 22 is put on a main body 21, and the part 1 is put on the table 22. Thus the part 1 can be operated in an optional direction by turning the table 22.
