Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To avoid the collision between a card and a card draw-out member, by giving a displacement to the card draw-out member that drew the card out to a prescribed position to a prescribed height from that position in a selection mode and therefore having a contact between the card and the draw-out member. CONSTITUTION:Numbers of card charts 1 containing a sucking bar 3 provided at the front side of each chart are stored into a card case 14 so that they can move forward. Then a draw-out member 33 having a permanent magnet to such the bar 3 is attached to the bar 3 of each chart 1. A desired one of charts 1 is selected and moved forward, and only a specific chart 1 to which the shift is permitted is drawn out. A driving cam 19 is set to a driving shaft 48 which is turned by a motor 18 of a card selector and with coupling to the member 33. Then only the specific chart 1 is extracted to a prescribed position by means of the member 33 and with the revolution of the shaft 48. This chart 1 is displaced by the cam 19 to the waiting position lower than and in front of a prescribed position. Thus the collision is prevented between the chart 1 and the member 33.
