Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To perform the self-writing/reading with just a chip for a microcomputer for IC card, by forming a microprocessor, a control program storing memory and a data storing memory on the same chip. CONSTITUTION:A chip main body 4 contains a microprocessor 1 which has various data processing functions, a control program storing memory 2 which stores the control program of the processor 1, and a data storing memory 3 which writes and stores a data from outside and at the same time reads out the stored data. The data fed serially is converted into a parallel data and stored in the memory 3. When the data is delivered, the parallel data stored in the memory 3 is converted into a serial data by the processor 1 to be delivered outside. As a result, the self-writing/reading is possible with just a chip.
