Distributed constant type filter

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To simplify the structure and to reduce the cost for the titled filter, by forming a cavity having a circular lateral section to a dielectric block provided between the resonance units which are formed with a conductive film provided on the side face of the dielectric block and a conductive film formed at the inside of a pierced hole provided to the dielectric block. CONSTITUTION:At least >=2 pierced holes 11 and 12 containing the conductive films 13 and 14 are formed side by side with a certain space to a dielectric block 10 containing a conductive film 15 on at least its four sides. A resonance unit is composed of the film 15 formed on the side face of a dielectric material, the conductive films 13 and 14, and an intermediate dielectric material. Then a cavity having a circular lateral section is formed to the block 10 provided between such resonance units. The block 10 is connected to an external circuit with the coupling capacitors 17 and 22.
