Connection of electrode lead

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To connect an electrode lead, by forming a lead-out electrode and an element electrode with a use of viscous conductive material, performing positioning and contacting. CONSTITUTION:There are element electrodes 3 at four corners of a semiconductor thin-chip 2 on an insulative substrate 1. A lead-out electrode pattern 4 of In formed on an insulative substrate 5 by evaporation is set to position the element electrode 3 on the fine top. It is easy to position if one of substrates is transparent. When the substrates 1, 5 are given a slight pressure, the electrodes can easily be connected, because In is soft and viscous at ordinary temperatures. Both lead-out and element electrodes may be made of In.
