Heat-sensitve color recording body
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To provide a heat-sensitive color reocrding body having a remarkable sensitizing effect and an image-stabilizing effect and useful for a thermal head, various printers or the like, by a method wherein a plurality of specified phenolic color formers are dissolved into each other to produce an eutectic body or a solid solution. CONSTITUTION:The first phenolic color former component is represented by formulaI(wherein ring A may have a substituent group of halogen, 1-4C alkyl or hyrdroxyl group) and is, for example, 4, 4'-thiobisphenol. The second phenolic color former component used in combination with the thiobisphenol is represented by formula II [wherein Y is a direct bond, a group represented by formula II (wherein each of R1 and R2 is H, 1-6C alkyl, -12C aryl; R1 and R2 may be bonded to each other to form an alkylene group), 0, sulfone, carbonyl]. The two color formers are combined with each other, and are used in the form particles of an eutectic body or a solid solution to obtain the title recording material.
