Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To send either of perforated paper and usual paper without slackening by providing the second friction paper feeding roller turning at a faster peripheral speed than the sending speed of papers in a paper feed mechanism provided with a friction paper sending means and a pin feed paper sending means. CONSTITUTION:An usual paper 1 is pushed on a platen 4 by the strong force of a pinch roller 2 and sent out toward the direction A by the rotation of the platen 4. In this case, it is given a tension by the rubber roller 11 turning at a faster peripheral speed than the platen 4 and its slackening is removed. In sending the paper in the reverse direction B, since the rubber roller 11 does not turn by an one-way clutch, the paper 1 is given a friction force while sliding between the rubber roller 11 and the pinch roller 3 and sent out without slackening. In the case of perforated papers, the pinch roller 2 retracts and paper is sent by a pin feed roller 8, where the paper is likewise sent out constantly by means of the rubber roller 11 without slackening.
