Paper feeding mechanism

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To miniaturize a printer and obtain a paper feed mechanism that is inexpensive and of high reliability by using as the paper pressing means in a paper feeding mechanism a thin elastic metal rod in which a rotating body is inserted. CONSTITUTION:A paper pressing roller 14 is rotatably inserted into 13c of an arch-shaped metal rod 13 and its spring force presses printing paper 15 against a roller of a paper feed means 9. When it is desired to insert or pull out the printing paper, the arm 13d of the wire 13 is rotated in the direction of the arrow mark D to move the paper pressing roller 14 from the position of E to the position F, developing a gap between it and the roller 11. Now the printing paper 15 can be smoothly inserted or pulled out.
