Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To improve maneuverability of a sailing board by enabling a dagger board to be put in and out of a board body so that a protruding amount of the dagger board from the bottom surface of the board body into water can be varied at will and maintained at the varied position. CONSTITUTION:A board body of a sailing board 1 is provided with a through hole 5 in which is supported a dagger board 7 through a rotary shaft portion 13. The rotary shaft portion 13 comprises central rotary dies 21 (21A, 21A) and disks 22. When the dagger board 7 is turned, projections 38 of the disks 22 slide out of recesses 39 to press coil springs 33 and can turn until they stop at required angular positions. When the projections 38 fit the corresponding recesses 39 in that positions, the turning angular positions are maintained. The reference number 14 in the drawing designates a handling belt for manually turning the dagger board 7 and the reference numeral 15 a projection by which the dagger board 7 is operatively turned with foot.
