Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain titled composition with thermal and oxidation stability also highly resistant to heat discoloration, comprising a synthetic rubber and each specific amount of a particular solfur compound and a phenolic compound. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprising (1) 100pts.wt. of a synthetic rubber (e.g., polybutadiene rubber synthesized through solution polymerization process) and (2) normally 0.1-2(pref. 0.3-1.5) pts.wt. of a mixture of (A) a sulfur compound of formulaI(R1 is 4-20C alkyl) with (B) one of phenolic compounds of formula II-IV (R2 is 1-4C alkyl) in a weight ratio A/B=1/0.1- 2.
