Holder for mount rubber of exhaust system

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To instantly attach a mount rubber to a holder by forming a flat fitting part at one end of the mount rubber holder and an expanded part at the opposed end thereof. CONSTITUTION:A mount rubber holder 11 has a flat part 12 for fitting to a car body at one end, a holding part 14 for a mount rubber 1 at the opposed end, and an expanded part 15 at one side of the holding part 14. A bolt 20 is first inserted through a bolt hole in the car body fitting part 12 of the mount rubber holder 11 and threadably engaged with a nut 21 which is fixed to a car body plate 7 so as to fix the mount rubber holder 11 to the car body. The mount rubber 1 is then pressed to hang from the holding part 14 of the mount rubber holder 11. The mount rubber 1 firmly fit to the mount rubber holder 11 by the influence of elasticity of the vibro-isolating rubber.
